I missed posting on week 6, it was a very busy week. I had my 6 week check up and it went very well, I am back to my regular weight and I can start exercising and doing most all the other normal things I have been wanting to get back to doing. We had many soccer games and company so I did not have much time to post. We had a nice Valentines day and it was great to get to have a new little love to celebrate with on this special Love Day! This week we are cheering at more soccer games and getting geared up to go to Oklahoma for the first time. Waylon is getting more and more fun to be with. He is still smiling more and more and now starting to giggle a bit more. He knows who his Momma and Dad are and that is sweet to get to see. He loves playing on his play mat and falling asleep on his tummy when he is tuckered out from all that kicking. He is now in size 1 diapers, I was all out and went to the store to get diapers and accidentally got the wrong size but now that he is in a size 1 we have not had one leak so I guess this was the trick, although I am sad that he is getting so big so quick. He is sleeping longer periods at night and is now on a good eat, play, sleep routine. He loves his bath time and we Love that sweet clean baby smell.
Nathan is still so good with him and such a big help to me. During soccer season he is at school at 7:30 am and not home till 7:00pm and when it is game night, two nights a week he is not home till after 10pm. He says he sleeps good through the night but I know he still hears us get up several times so he is not getting real sound sleep. Through all of this he has never once complained and is always going above and beyond to help me. I know it is very hard on him to be away from Waylon every day for so long but he makes sure to have a few minuets of quality time with him when he gets home even though he is exhausted. He also has his special time with him in the morning when he gets up he takes Waylon and share the start of the day together. I am so thankful to have a husband who loves his son so very much and who loves me so very much. BTW the soccer team is doing great! He is such a great Coach!
