Well, I will have to say, Prairie's first halloween was one that may never be topped!!! Last year we wanted to dress as a family theme for halloween, it worked out okay but I remember thinking, next year, we will have our "Dorothy" and we can all go as Wizard of OZ,,, and boy did we!!! We were just planing on going as our little family, with Waylon as the lion, Nathan as the scare crow and me as the tin man but the grandmas got involved and it was amazing...
We had such a great time getting ready and getting together with our neighborhood. We did the neighborhood party on Saturday so that we could have sunday to just our families, it worked out well. We had so much fun and loved getting so dressed up. We really thought Waylon would be scared of everyone dressed up but it did not phase him or Prairie one bit. He did pretty good at leaving his costume head on and we figured out the next night that a sucker was the trick. Prairie did great and had no problem being a great Dorothy... Waylon was still not that into trick or treating... He got one piece of candy and he was set. We just visited a few neighbors homes then came back to ours to pass out candy....
I will have to say it was the BEST Halloween I have ever had... I am so thankful I have such a wonderful family who will get as excited about these things as I do...
