Snow in the South!!

Sooo It was a HUGE deal for us Southerners to get some snow this past week...
Nathan has lived in south Texas his entire life and has only seen snow once...
This past week all the hype went around that we could possibly see some... I had very little faith in the weather men but was pleasantly surprised when it did snow Thursday night... It was only about a 1/4 of an inch but it was enough to cause major havoc and cancel all schools, and roads in South Texas...
It was so much fun for us to get to stay at home and play in the snow for a few hours until it all melted...
Waylon kept saying snow, white, snow, white outside.. The snow only covered the streets, there was none on the grass and there was barley enough to make a snow man or ball.... But we still had fun..
Luckily, I had bought Waylon a big coat, hat and gloves, last year... They still fit this year so we did have some warm stuff to ware but we were all very miss matched in our "snow clothes"....
The really sad part of it is we were planning to meet all my family in Dallas to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge and spend the Super Bowl Cheering for our beloved team the Packers there.... Due to the weather there and us all traveling we had to cancel... I am honestly heart broken..
We really wanted to go to the lodge but I REALLY wanted to be with my family while the packers were playing... If anyone knows my Dad you know what a HUGE Packer fan he was and how he instilled that into all of us....
We are going to make up the Lodge trip and we will be Cheering Very Loud on Sunday....
