The Birthday Girl Part 1!

Of course this is how my life is going right now... Way behind...
I am going to have to do a series of post from Prairies Birthday...Let's just say it was so much fun, one of the best weekends of my life...
Part One-
On Thursday morning, Waylon and I went to get Prairie out of bed (Dad had a early morning meeting and could not be there). We woke her up singing Happy Birthday and holding a balloon for her... She is so sweet and happy in the morning but this morning she got a bit to excited and hit her head on the rails of the bed while trying to stand up so the "happy birthday song" was cut short... And Waylon had a hard time giving up the birthday balloon so we kinda scratched the whole morning thing...
Nathan came home after his meeting to spend the whole day with us. We went out to eat with just us and our special girl, ran some last min errands and came home to give all of our attention to our sweet girl.
We got her a big princess tent (she loves tents) and She LOVED it.... She also got her own pink cell phone.. what a diva..
After an afternoon nap we woke up to my brother, his wife and my niece and nephew here.. They drove all the way from Oklahoma to be with us on this very special weekend.. We love them so much and were thrilled they were here...
We played outside the rest of the day (Prairie's FAVORITE thing to do) ordered pizza for dinner and had a birthday cake..
As you can see in the picture someone (Waylon) got into the cake before it got to the table and someone (Waylon) blew the candle out before the birthday girl could... Waylon had a blast for sissy's birthday.. He loves birthdays and can sing the song very well.. He kept saying "sissy birthday to you",,, so sweet...
Andy and Keri brought tons of gifts and we got to open special "mail" gifts from our other cousins....
We had such a wonderful Birthday for our special Girl...
I thanked Nathan for being such a great Dad to our beautiful, sweet girl for one whole year...
And Thanked God over and over again for giving her to us.... We are so lucky!

Prairie had taken a few steps before her big day but On her birthday she took several steps and has not stopped...
