Last Saturday we went over to Nathan's Mom's house to visit some of our family. Nathan's cousin Cassidy got to meet Waylon for the first time. Waylon loved her and she loved him. It is so fun to get to show off your baby with everyone, the Payne's love Waylon and we love him getting to spend time with them. Waylon's Grandaddy LOVES him and I mean LOVES him. I have often told Nathan I would trust leaving Waylon with him almost over anyone else because he would never put Waylon down. As you can see in the pictures he very rarely takes his eyes off of Waylon and everything Waylon does is the cutest best and most wonderful thing ever. I used to think I had a pretty special connection with Granddaddy but Waylon has taken over, and I love it. It was fun to see how MeeMee had all kinds of new things for Waylon to make him comfortable at her house, a cradle and a pack and play. It is so funny how they get so excited to even get to change a diaper. The Great Aunt Star, Uncle Ryan and Aunt Katie all got to love on Waylon. Waylon is very blessed to have so many people that love him so much.
I have started working full weeks now, it is still very hard to leave my sweet monkey every morning but I do love working. Waylon is still doing great and sleeping through the night. He has started this grunting noise that is very funny and I will have to get it on video to post later. He is still rolling over and getting very physically active. He is still the joy of our lives and the happiness that we survive on.Nathan has a Cinco de Mayo soccer tournament this weekend that he will be playing in so we will be busy with that all weekend. For the past several years that he has played in the tournament he has been award defensive MVP so we are hoping for a solid performance out of him again this year... He has one extra person to impress this year.
We are trying our hardest not to get the swine flu, our church was canceled on Sunday due to an outbreak in the town that it is in and a few schools have been shut down. I am in and out of Dr. offices all day long so I make sure to double up on the hand sanitizer and detox when I get home before I play with Waylon. People in San Antonio are going crazy wearing mask, gloves and going to the dr. for blood work to see if it is the swine flu for the slightest cough. I have talked to several physicians about it and they do not seem to be to concerned about the whole ordeal. I am thinking I am going to take a personal day off of work, go to Home depot buy all the cases of painters mask I can find and sell them on the street corner for $1 I would make a killing. I pray to God that this thing does not get out of control but they way people are in San Antonio you would think the world is ending ...
Hope all is well, God Bless You all and remember to wash your hands and cough into your elbow...
