We had a wonderful very Full weekend equipped with Family and Friends...
On Friday night Nathans cousins, aunt and Dad all met us for dinner.. We had wonderful Mexican food and it was great getting to see them play with the kids.. It was the first time the girls had met Prairie and it had been a while since Grandaddy and Aunt Starr had seen either of them... Waylon LOVED getting to play with everyone and everyone was in love with Prairie... It was good to get to see all of them...
On Saturday we played around the house and Waylon and Nathan mowed the lawn then we had a great steak dinner with some of our friends in the neighborhood... We are so thankful to live in a neighborhood with so many friends who have kids the same age.. it is going to be great seeing all of them grow up together..
On Sunday we got a great surprise when my second cousin Kellyanne and her boys came to visit.. Rory is 12 and Carrick is 8 and they loved Waylon and Prairie... It was so sweet how they just wanted to play with him all day... They brought him really sweet gifts and Waylon could not get enough of them....
On Sunday evening we had the annul sports banquet for Nathans school, I will post more about that later...
It was a very fun filled weekend and we are so thankful to have weekends that are filled with family and friends...
Waylon slept till 8:15 on Monday and 8:45 on Tuesday so I think he was worn out with all the fun...
We have some things planned for this weekend but we are going to try to lay low and just spend time together because I have to start back to work part time on Wednesday...
Tuesday we will a test run with the nanny and the two kids... they did great and she said it was no problem... I went to SA to get a massage and have lunch with a good friend... I missed them both so much but trusted they were in good hands...
