UNDIE 5000 5K-Beware of Boys in Skimpies

This past weekend my baby brother Matthew and several of his friends from ACU came to Dallas to run in the Undie 5000 5K it is to support Colorectal Cancer ( the disease our father died from). The idea of the race is to run it in your undies to put a focus on the bottom....I only ran the 1 mile but got lots of great pics of them running the 5k. It was so much fun to see how many people went all out and how Matthew and his friends really got into it. They were interviewed by the Dallas Newspaper and were posted on a video on their web site. The race was at White Rock lake in Dallas a very beautiful place to enjoy outside activities. I did not have a running partner so it was nice for me to get to jog by myself and reflect on how much I miss my Dad, how thankful to God I am that I had him in my life for a short period of time and how hard we all need to fight to find a cure for this horrible disease. My Mom was not happy about Matthew running in his skimpies but I told Matthew I am sure Dad is up in heaven heaving a good laugh at how much fun Matthew and I had. After the race Matthew and I went shopping and had a great time being together.
