All This Waiting....

Well, I have to be honest and say I really thought I would have a sweet cowboy by now....

We went back to the doctor today and I am the same as I was a week ago. 3 cm dia and 70% effaced... I thought I might have moved a little and she would go ahead and admit me into the hospital so that we could be home with Waylon on Christmas but I am guessing God and Waylon have other plans. I know the longer he bakes in my oven the healthier it is going to be for him so that is where my thoughts are now. Last week when I found out how far along I was I kinda went crazy, I got all my Christmas shopping finished, house cleaned, presents wrapped and under the tree and every closet cleaned... every time I would leave to go somewhere I would make sure my bags were packed and the house was Waylon ready. I got up every morning, showered, shaved my legs, put makeup on and blow dried my hair,, ( I know you may be thinking you don't do that every morning anyway and the answer is no, I am very low maitance...). So I am thinking the day I don't get all of this done I will have to be rushed to the hospital with greasy hair, prickly legs and no makeup, not the pic I was going for......Nathan has been wonderful keeping very good tabs on me and Waylon. My Mom and brother have also been great by cooking dinner and treats, a big thank you to Matthew for painting my toe nails.... yes at this point I am not able to do that anymore.

So for now we are trusting in God and asking for an abundance of patients....

Today after the doc apt. we went to the movies with Mom and Matthew, saw 4 Christmas's, I would highly recommend it. Tomorrow we are going to have our 2nd annual Christmas cookie decorating contest with Mom and Matthew followed by our Christmas night with them.We have dinner reservations at a really nice place and are going to do some fun activities after that.... I am sure I will blog about that later. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and I will keep you posted on all the events that are happening here....

God Bless
