Waylon is 1 month old!!!!

I can not believe it! I am so excited to say I have a one month old but I am also so sad to know that he is getting bigger and bigger by the day. He is still so wonderful and we are still loving every day. I missed the 3 week old post, we had 2 photo shoots, company and several soccer games to go to. I will post pics of the photo shoots later. I am going to try to get this post out before I have a baby that is hungry.

I wanted to post some things that I have learned, things I love and things to remember from the first month of my beautiful babies life.....

I never knew how much I could love something so quickly

I never knew I could go with 3 hours of sleep a night and not be the wicked witch of the west.

I never knew getting woken up in the middle of the night numerous times would make me thankful.

I never knew that I could fall more in love with my husband by watching the way he is with our son.

I never knew how much respect I would have for all you other Mom's out there ( Kimmie,Laci)

I never knew how thankful I could be for my own Mother

I never knew sitting at home all day and starring at my baby would be the only thing I would ever want to do.

I never knew how much God loves his children until I had a child of my own to love so very much.

Things about Waylon in his first month of life....

He is growing out of his preemie clothes and a few of his new born clothes....

He has the longest fingers and toes of any baby I have seen

He makes the cutest facial expressions and has several of them.

He loves to be held

He is starting to smile at us and it is not just gas...

He is loosing his hair.. ( I did not want this to happen)

I loves to sleep with his momma

He loves his daddy!

He still scratching himself in the face when he gets upset....

He still does his monkey face when he is hungry and the pabby will not satisfy

He LOVES his pabby

His umbilical cord just fell of, yes at 4 weeks....

He will not stop fussing or crying until he gets what he wants...( I am not raising a quitter)

He likes car rides

He loves to go to his dad's soccer games

He likes to be with out clothes

He is finally starting to no pee in every outfit I put him in, just one or two a day

He still has a lot of gas ( dad thinks it is so funny, says he sounds like an old man)

He is sleeping 2-3 hours a night in between feedings

We are still going to sleep on the couch at about 3am so dad can get some rest

He is holding his head up well

He loves bright lights

He has the longest eyelashes

He is not to fond of his swing yet

He loves his granna and grandmamma

He is the most beautiful wonderful thing in the world and we are so blessed to have him....

We have a doc apt next week I am anxious to see just how big he is getting... I will post more later,,, someone is hungry....

God Bless
