This weekend Nathan was gone for his brothers bachelor party at the coast so we were home alone. Granna came out to keep us company. We went shopping all day then got all the fix'ens to make baby food. I got the idea from Kimmie, Jill and Keri. It was so easy and I recommend it to everyone. It is a HUGE money saver and is so much better than the jar stuff. It really helped that my MIL got me a really nice food processor a few years ago for Christmas. I had not really had the chance to use it until now and it is so nice. I am going to start finding all kinds of things to blend. It took us an hour to get the green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, and carrots cooked, blended and in ice cube trays. Thanks Granna for helping so much and spending the weekend with us, thanks MeeMee for the wonderful food processor, and thanks girls for giving me the idea and direction for making the food...
With all the money I saved making baby food I can frequent the new store we found today Charming Charlies... If you have one in your town you have to visit it... It is a girls dream come true. They have the most beautiful jewelry, purses and clothes. SO CHEAP! The store is color coated so if you have a yellow shirt and you need earrings to go with it, there is a whole section that is all yellow....
