Prairie is now 7 weeks old... Cant believe it...
We went for a 6 week check up last week and she weighed just under 10lbs...50th% she is 2 lbs bigger than Waylon was at this age... I told you she is a chunky little thing... She is almost 21 inches long 50th% so she is growing very fast. They said everything looks great and we will go back in 2 weeks to get our first set of shots...
She is Wonderful, what more can I say... She still has that wonderful, patient and sweet personality.. She is starting to stay up more and more and really starting smile a lot.. She does a open mouth smile and even her eyes smile... I love it... She is starting to coo a little more and it is so sweet to hear how her voice sounds like a little girl... She is loving to be held more and more and it is getting a bit harder for me to put her down during the day.. I really don't mind still because I know this wont last much longer.. She is sleeping anywhere from 6-8 hours a night... We just got the play mat out for her to play on and she is not that into it.. would much rather be held... We have started to put her on her tummy and she can hold her head up bu gets tired of being on her belly after about 30min..She is holding her head up really well but would much rather be held... she is such a great shopper and loves to go with me... She likes being in her car seat and will sleep pretty good in that. She is now in size 1 diapers and is in all 0-3 month clothes... She loves being swaddled at night and it seems she sleeps much better when she is nice and tight. Her eyes are still a light blue and she has very long eye lashes... Her hair on top has started to fall out but it is coming back and her hair in the back is still very full...
She is just beautiful and we fall more and more in love with her every day!
